My services range from consultation
to complete design services. I specialize in "ground-up"
design. In other words: creating a design from an empty
space (i.e. basement, commercial space), a set of
architectural plans (new construction, additions) or the
reworking of an existing space (kitchen, boat, etc.). Even
though I'm architecturally strong, many of my jobs are
decorative in nature. I do not work in a particular style.
It's my job as a professional designer to integrate my
clients' style into a well-designed environment. My
repertoire ranges from Caveman to Contemporary.

In General, I
charge by the hour. When approached with a
new project, the prospective client and I
discuss it in length. I then submit a
proposal based on the known scope.
If the client wants consultation time only,
we discuss terms on the phone. There are
times when I will give a fixed fee. This is
often the case when I do a model home for a
builder. The point of an hourly fee is to
offer purchasing freedom to the client. |
